Our Team
We take a collaborative approach to investment and financial planning matters.
While many firms have an investment committee that meets to discuss which investments should be recommended for client accounts, we go one step further – our team considers not only investment but also financial planning matters. We combine our expertise in investment management, financial planning, and taxation to ensure a comprehensive solution for our clients’ needs.

Our Network
Our Custodian
IAM clients benefit from multi-currency investment accounts, excellent rates on exchanging currencies, and access to investment markets around the world. We can wire funds in and out of accounts in a variety of currencies, and, depending on the country of residency, it may also be possible to arrange for debit card and checking access.
We have institutional relationships with three large multi-national US-based discount brokerage firms so trading costs are kept to a minimum and our clients’ accounts are protected against default by SIPC insurance up to $500,000 and private insurance on amounts above that.
Our clients have direct access to their investment accounts online where they can view their account holdings and transactions and can download statements. We provide quarterly reporting to our clients and a more in-depth annual report comparing account performance to a meaningful benchmark.
During the 2008 financial crisis a number of large Wall Street firms such as Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers failed and several others, such as Merrill Lynch, were purchased by banks to keep them from failing. Neither the brokerage firms we use to house our clients’ accounts, nor our own firm, had any such issues.
Our Network
IAM’s goal is to provide solutions to any financial concern that a client may have. We specialize in investment management and financial planning services and we have a network of trusted professionals who can address our clients’ taxation, insurance, estate planning, and other financial needs. Our network includes:
- A world-wide network of financial planning firms with which we collaborate to provide cross-border solutions for our expatriate clients
- Tax professionals in numerous countries who provide tax strategy services and submission of returns for US residents or non-residents
- An insurance agent who represents a number of leading international insurance companies and who specializes in plans for expatriates
- Estate planning attorneys who specialize in cross-border issues and the setting up of trusts
We encourage our clients to come to us with any financial concerns, if we do not immediately have someone in our network who can effectively address the issue, then we will find a solution from a trusted outside provider.
